as root (also tried as ordinary user)

Refer to the error below, is it about some default settings must be
adjusted in pom?
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.2.1:exec
(compile-brunch) on project ambari-web: Command execution failed. Process
