Hi Umar,

You can make an API call like this:
GET /api/v1/clusters/cluster_name/host_components?HostRoles/component_name=SLIDER_CLIENT

Subject: Locating services using Ambari APIs

Hi,

I am looking for a way to find out which service is running where on my cluster programmatically
using Ambari APIs. For example, how to locate where 'Slider Client' is installed so that any
slider commands can be redirected to that node.

Thanks,
-Umar
