Subject User directories on the DFS
Date Thu, 16 Jan 2014 17:06:55 GMT
I have an odd issue with hadoop deployed using ambari-- its not creating /user/<username>
home directories. If I run an example teragen job, the resulting output directory is in the
root of the DFS.

For the tar/RPM install, the same teragen job will create the output directory under the users
home directory.

What configuration could be affecting this?
