Subject [jira] [Updated] (AMBARI-21916) Shut down LLAP when HSI startup fails
Date Fri, 08 Sep 2017 17:26:00 GMT

Swapan Shridhar updated AMBARI-21916:
-------------------------------------
    Description:
As part of starting HSI (LLAP + Hive2/HiveServer2), If LLAP can't be brought to *RUNNING*
or *RUNNING_ALL* state as far as containers are concerned, we bail out on starting HSI. As
part of this, LLAP process continues to run, even thought the acceptable state is not reached.

Fix: When bailing out, call slider stop and destroy.
