Jonathan Hurley reopened AMBARI-17991:

Causes 2 severe losses of service:

- Web client requests fail with the following exception:
{code:title=FLUME metrics.json}
com.google.gson.JsonSyntaxException: com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException: Invalid
escape sequence at line 221 column 70 path $..[0].metrics..

- When deploying views (I'm guessing views is using Jetty 9 to compile while we use Jetty
8 to deploy as of this patch)
