Subject [jira] [Created] (AMBARI-15713) Starting MapR History Server Fails When NameNode is SSL
Date Tue, 05 Apr 2016 12:22:25 GMT
Andrew Onischuk created AMBARI-15713:

Summary: Starting MapR History Server Fails When NameNode is SSL
                 Key: AMBARI-15713
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Andrew Onischuk
            Assignee: Andrew Onischuk
             Fix For: 2.4.0
         Attachments: AMBARI-15713.patch

The `` uses the deprecated `hdfs-site/dfs.https.enable`
property. As a result, when starting components like MapR History Server, they
will fail when NameNode is protected by SSL:

        raise Fail(err_msg)

Instead, `hdfs-site/dfs.http.policy` should be used.
