Sumit Mohanty updated AMBARI-14019:
-----------------------------------
    Assignee: Alejandro Fernandez

> Warn when multiple hdfs data directories reside on the same mount volume
> ------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: AMBARI-14019
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-14019
> Project: Ambari
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: ambari-client
> Affects Versions: 2.1.3
> Reporter: Nick Dimiduk
> Assignee: Alejandro Fernandez
> Priority: Minor
>
> Notice this while setting up a new cluster. Machines have 8 drives. I had made mount
locations for the 7 non-root disks, but forgot to mount them. Went through install process,
specified these 7 locations for HDFS data directories. Neither Ambari nor HDFS noticed the
miss-configuraiton.
> Could also be considered an HDFS bug/improvement.
