------------------------------------------

There is an option to "Add property" when you configure SNMP notification in Ambari. You can
set the property with key name as "ambari.dispatch.snmp.security.username"

> I am using AMBARI 2.0 and want to configure SNMP alerts. It can work when i tried to fire
a SNMPV1 or SNMPv2c Trap. But when i tried to fire the SNMPv3 Trap, I have found nowhere for
me to fill the security name or the security level.
> In the logs , it mentions "ERROR [alert-dispatch-1] SNMPDispatcher:123 - Unable to dispatch
SNMP trap with invalid configuration. Property "ambari.dispatch.snmp.security.username" should
be set."
> i'm so confused,please help me.
