Vijay Srinivasaraghavan commented on AMBARI-12370:
--------------------------------------------------

[~sumitmohanty] The error that I was getting was due to some issues with the CentOS6 base
image. So I have cleaned all docker images from my machine following which I was getting a
different error during ambari-metrics compile step. I have resolved the issue by changing
the Dockerfile.

1) Added python-devel install step to the Docker image
2) Installed jdk-7u55-linux-x64.rpm instead of JDK6

With these changes, I was able to build ambari using the Dockerfile. I can submit a patch
or [~jaoki] could change these to get to the trunk.

> 2) Run docker build -t ambari/build ./dev-support/docker/docker
