Robert Levas commented on AMBARI-10163:
---------------------------------------

You might not need to following code once the patch to remove properties from configurations
when disabling Kerberos is merged (AMBARI-10176):

{code}
          <property>	43	  <property>
	    <name>general.kerberos.principal</name>
	    <value>*</value>
	    <description>Name of the kerberos principal to use.</description>
	  </property>

	  <property>
	    <name>general.kerberos.keytab</name>
	    <value>*</value>
	    <description>Path to the kerberos keytab to use.</description>
	  </property>
{code}

> The version of Accumulo used in the 2.3 stack has user authentication via kerberos if
configured appropriately. The Accumulo service should be adjusted to take advantage of this
feature.
