Subject [jira] [Created] (AMBARI-10117) Accessing view instances unavailable to admin users when no clusters are configured
Date Wed, 18 Mar 2015 12:26:38 GMT
Aleksandr Kovalenko created AMBARI-10117:
--------------------------------------------

Summary: Accessing view instances unavailable to admin users when no clusters
are configured
                 Key: AMBARI-10117
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-10117
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ambari-web
    Affects Versions: 2.0.0
            Reporter: Aleksandr Kovalenko
            Assignee: Aleksandr Kovalenko
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: 2.0.0

When testing a standalone Ambari Views - Ambari Server instance scenario, I noticed that only
non-admin users can access view instances. If either the 'admin' user or a user with admin
privileges, I'm always taken to the cluster installation wizard when attempting to access
a view instance. Access is attempted either through "Go to instance", or through the (views
boxes) -> Instance.
