Subject [jira] [Created] (AMBARI-9362) Request status may be FAILED if underlying skippable stage is FAILED.
Date Tue, 27 Jan 2015 22:27:57 GMT
Tom Beerbower created AMBARI-9362:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Request status may be FAILED if underlying skippable stage is FAILED.
                 Key: AMBARI-9362
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-9362
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Tom Beerbower
            Assignee: Tom Beerbower
             Fix For: 2.0.0

A skippable stage means that it can fail without the entire request failing. Currently the
calculation for request status may return FAILED if an underlying stage is FAILED, even if
that stage is skippable.
