[~snemethy], I believe these changes *may* not be working on CentOS 6.4, there are multiple
failures while trying to run the following,

/usr/sbin/groupadd
/usr/sbin/groupmod
/usr/sbin/useradd
mkdir -m 755 /hadoop
mkdir -m 755 /etc/hadoop

etc.
