I think the problem lies in the fact that we have active-active NameNodes with replication between them, Ambari is probably getting confused as a result. From the screenshot as you can see we only display one of the active NameNodes, the other two are alive and well but Ambari is unaware of them. If I could make Ambari just link to the primary NameNode that would probably suffice for now. I'm going to look into the proper solution as we progress. Thanks very much! Hi=C2=A0Yusaku,
I am using 1.5.1 at the moment, I have also used 1.6.0 and as= you say the links are not greyed out but only link to blank pages.<= /div>

I t= hink the problem lies in the fact that we have active-active NameNodes with= replication between them, Ambari is probably getting confused as a result.= From the screenshot as you can see we only display one of the active NameN= odes, the other two are alive and well but Ambari is unaware of them.

If I could make Ambari just link to the primary NameNod= e that would probably suffice for now. I'm going to look into the prope= r solution as we progress.

Thanks very much!
Dave

Hi David,

What version of Ambari are you using?
My guess is that due to your setup, Ambari thinks both NameNodes are
in Standby (or not able to retrieve the active/standby status) and not
enabling the Quick Links.
Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing?
In 1.6.0 and higher, you should always be able to access Quick Links
for NameNodes regardless of their active/standby state:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-5652
