Subject Re: Ambari-1.5.1 ganglia service

Hi,

1. After adding a service, the Ganglia configurations are re-created on
a STOP/START combination or RESTART.
2. Ganglia is used for collecting metrics, and Nagios is used for
service monitoring and alerting. You are correct that metainfo does not
contain tagging of services.
3. New host components do not automatically trigger a restart of Ganglia
to pick up configs. A restart of the Ganglia service will do that.

Thanks,
Nate
