I have taken the defaults from http://hbase.apache.org/book/config.files.html and added them to the site_properties file however there are some inconsistencies regarding some of these values in Ambari. Currently, several have no defaults. Though, with some that do, in the upgrade helper, values are defined there that do not match the Apache recommendations. So questions: 1) Should the defaults in the site_properties.js and the UpgradeHelper.py match? If so, what defaults should they be based on? 2) Why aren't these values in the hbase-site.xml? Is there a reason for this? Thanks, Erin
