Hi Deepak,

Here are some docs showing how to use the API:

* Adding a host and deploying components [2]
* Adding a new service to an existing cluster [3]

Also, you can find out exactly Ambari Web creates a cluster from scratch by
looking at the Network tab of the Developer Tools in your browser (e.g.,
Chrome) as you run the Install Wizard.

Furthermore, there is ongoing work on making such on-the-fly API-based
cluster provisioning easier via "blueprints" [3]
