[~xiwang0309], I like the use of the deferred pattern to get rid of the "async: false" AJAX
calls.
There's some room for further improvement.
App.ApplicationController's dataLoading function has an interval loop that is a bit messy.
 I think we can clean that up if we take advantage of the same pattern.
