Robert Rati commented on AMBARI-3174:
-------------------------------------

As I understand things the packages are pulled from repositories that are hard coded in Ambari.
The client will need to install the packages from a Fedora repo, ideally whatever is setup
on the machine itself. I could see an option on the server to push down a repository definition
file to the client in the case where a user might want to use a custom repo they create.

> In order to deploy Ambari on a Fedora server and install Fedora clients via ssh key from
the web UI, Ambari needs a Fedora HDP repo.
> Additionally, the server.os_type value in ambari.properties needs to support Fedora version
strings.
