Subject [jira] [Commented] (AMBARI-2420) Add ability to set Repo URL
Date Wed, 19 Jun 2013 12:24:20 GMT

Nate Cole commented on AMBARI-2420:

To clarify:
The following is currently set: "http://<server>/HDP/centos5/1.x/GA/"
Let's pretend someone wants to customize their repo. What would the base be? Suppose they
use "http://<internal>/companyRepo/hadoop-repo"

I think we can do this with a replace-token so if you specify a URL like
"http://<internal>/companyRepo/{os_type}/myversion" then we can replace the OS when
we save it. Would that be acceptable?
