Hi Jerrin,

As I suggested on Friday, the command *curl
http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/public-ipv4
<http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/public-ipv4> *will give u the
public IP on the instance.
This can be used in your consul / ha-proxy startup scripts.
