You should understand the PHP interface as this is the current active reference implementation
for the API.

The task is to take the current Java Swing based XBaya GUI and update it to work with latest
Airavata server and port to Java FX.

But to start with a basic understanding of Airavata will help. So you may want to do this
tutorial first -

I read in Apache mailing list that there will be projects related to JavaFX in GSOC for Airavata.
It would be really helpful if someone will guide me to get a head start with Airvata with
some bug-fixing or any beginner level task so that I can get familiar with the project.
