Particularly for long running ( hours) tasks some intermediate status echos will be very useful for the user to be assured of the right progress of the task. In case of unsatisfactory progress the user may want to stop/pause/kill the workflow and resubmit with modified inputs. If there is a way to modify the inputs and the task rereads them at the next cycle(step) during the execution then the workflow can be steered toward the right (desired) direction by the user. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252)
