Subject Constant reconnect in ActiveMQ Transport thread?
Date Wed, 27 May 2015 11:36:16 GMT
I am fairly new to ActiveMQ so excuse me if this is a newb question, I did
scan the FAQ and didn't find anything answering this...

I am using ActiveMQ with JMS and spring and when I debug I see that the
"ActiveMQ Transport" thread is constantly refreshing and establishing a new
connection every second, is this normal?

I have not seen it cause any real problem so far, the messages arrive very
quickly and all seems well, although it is a bit annoying during debugging
and I guess it could be a symptom of an underlying problem?

I am using the following dependency in maven:
                <dependency>
                        <groupId>org.apache.activemq</groupId>
                        <artifactId>activemq-broker</artifactId>
                        <version>5.10.1</version>
                </dependency>

And I am connecting to a server with the same version installed on an Amazon
EC2 instance, using openwire protocol on port 61616
