Subject Kahadb visibility?
Date Mon, 10 Feb 2014 18:36:59 GMT
Do I have any visibility into the contents/metadata of the kahadb datastore?
The mbean attributes exposed by the persistent adapter are quite minimal
(the location of the on-disk store, and a "Size" value which I do not really
understand).

It'd be nice to see how many messages it has in storage for a particular
topic/queue. Browsing/viewing message content would be sweet of course.

I get that kahadb is not a general purpose datastore so this level of
introspection may not be feasible. I just want to make sure I am taking
advantage of any and all such facilities available.

BTW: performance seems really good for kahadb. Oracle persistence with no
pooling yielded 13 msgs/sec published; with c3p0 pooling it was 57
/msgs/sec; with kahadb was 420 msgs/sec.
