Subject "OpenWireFormatNegotiator::onewayWire format negotiation timeout" when creating connection/session
Date Thu, 17 Oct 2013 01:30:30 GMT
Hello,

I've encountered a problem where a user of our product reported their AMQ
messages stopped working, and when I dug into the details I found that we
are getting an exception for:

"OpenWireFormatNegotiator::onewayWire format negotiation timeout" when we
create the connection and then the session. Sadly I'm not sure which call is
throwing the exception, either createConnection() or createSession(). This
is because of the granularity of the debugging error messages in our code.

I googled around for this and didn't really find any answers, and so I'm
hoping the experts and users on this forum might be able to provide some
more insights into why this could be happening, and what I should look into.

Thanks in advance for your help,

-=John
