Subject Heading: JAMVM hangs/crashes when JMS(ActiveMQ) notification is sent between Client & Server
Date Thu, 14 Mar 2013 08:39:46 GMT
We have developed a mini web application using the following technologies
Flex4.1-> BlazeDS->Java1.7-> Spring 3.0-> MySQL6.0
JMS (ActiveMQ 5.2.0)is used for communication with Flex and Java
Deployed in Apache Tomcat6.0

This app runs inside a Telecom device something like a Switch, basically
used for Element Management purpose.
Device : MIPS Architecture, 12 Core processor, 800 MHZ, 16 GB RAM, Debian
OS, Open JDK Zero VM.

Due to OpenJDK’s performance issues in this hardware, we have chosen
“JAM-VM”. We often find JAM VM crashes when JMS notifications are sent.
We are clueless, as there is no hs_err_pid.log generated & no useful
information in COREDUMP.
No OOME is seen, no spike in CPU/Memory observed, no information about the
crash in Tomcat logs or anywhere else.

Have any one faced such kind of issue before ? If so, please share your
thoughts.

PS: There is no utilities comes along with JAMVM, hence unable to perform
Thread Dump, Memory analysis etc..
