that stack trace is the client doing its first sync request to the broker
and waiting for a reply. So that thread is normal.
the more interesting thread would be the transport reader thread on the
broker that is servicing that connectioninfo command and for some reason
not responding.
Can you try and find that thread and paste it or paste a full thread dump
of tomcat so that we can see the broker threads.
