Side note-- one advantage of using Camel is that it is shipped with 
ActiveMQ.  You can run the "route" inside the  broker using ActiveMQ's 
vm:// transport.  This way, the entire process is executed inside the 
JVM, and not in an app server across TCP.  It is very efficient.
