i am using this persistence Adaptor and it works:

        <persistenceAdapter>
            <amqPersistenceAdapter syncOnWrite="false" directory="data" 
maxFileLength="20 mb"/>
        </persistenceAdapter>
when you send message, you have to set
        producer.setDeliveryMode(DeliveryMode.PERSISTENT);
