Hi Madhav,

Before starting the mq server, set the following environment variable. This
enables JMX (Java management extensions) at port 1099. This is needed to
stop the server. This should solve your problem:

export SUNJMX="-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=1099 
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote=true"
