What are the errors?

All I had to do is modified the vs2005-activemq-example.vcproj and save to
vs2003-activemq-example.vcproj. Changes made.
Version="8.00"                            => Version="7.10"
Name="vs2005-activemq-example" => Name="vs2003-activemq-example"
RootNamespace="vs2005"             => RootNamespace="vs2003"

That was it, I loaded into vc2003 and compiled. Then ran example.
