The main obstacle is of course time.  I will make the release 1.0 of
amqcpp my priority upon returning from ApacheCon.  I would imagine it
should be ready in a couple of weeks.  The remaining issues are really
quality assurance issues, such as testing builds on more platforms, and
general testing of the code with unit and integration tests.  Once we
are satisfied with the state of the code I will package a release
containing the source as a 1.0 version. =20
