Subject UNIX Line ending convention used in ZIP file releases
Date Mon, 02 Oct 2006 15:25:05 GMT

Hi all

I presume that ActiveMQ release file with a .zip filename extension are
intended to be targetted at Windows users, but the files contained within
these archives currently use the UNIX line-ending convention <LF> instead of
the Windows <CRLF> convention. This makes editing files tough for us poor
Windows users.

Would it be possible to alter the release mechanism so that Windows
line-ending conventions are employed for the zip file creation?

Thanks and regards
Rob Lugt
