Subject Re: Problem using AMQ 4.0 on JBoss 4.0
Date Mon, 15 May 2006 13:45:08 GMT

Now trying to work from within a JBoss server I successfully retrieve the
QueueConnectionFactory but it fails after I try to create a queue connection
so that I can create a queue programatically.

The code

      Object o = objInitial.lookup("java:activemq/QueueConnectionFactory");
      QueueConnectionFactory factory = (QueueConnectionFactory) o;
      QueueConnection conn = factory.createQueueConnection();

fails with an exception that the a bit down the stack indicates the followin
(full stack at the end)

Caused by: javax.jms.JMSException: Could not connect to broker URL:
tcp://localhost:61616. Reason: java.io.IOException: Transport scheme NOT
recognized: [tcp]

Could it be something in the resource-adapter which doesn't start the
listner? I have checked with netstat and this port is not open.

javax.resource.ResourceException: Could not create connection.
