Try setting the "activemq.persistenceAdapterFactory" system property
to "org.activemq.store.vm.VMPersistenceAdapterFactory"

so adding a
-Dactivemq.persistenceAdapterFactory=org.activemq.store.vm.VMPersistenceAdap
terFactory
in the java command line should do the trick.
