Subject [jira] [Commented] (ARTEMIS-1316) Document Scheduled message support over AMQP
Date Tue, 01 Aug 2017 13:06:00 GMT

Timothy Bish commented on ARTEMIS-1316:

The "x-opt-delivery-delay" message annotation is the only way to schedule messages, the core
protocol uses the "_AMQ_SCHED_DELIVERY" property will not be used as the broker does not process
Application Properties from AMQP messages.

> Scheduled messages do not work for AMQP if "_AMQ_SCHED_DELIVERY" message property is
used. Broker does not recognize property and message is not scheduled for later time but instead,
message is received by client immediately. It is possible to schedule message with use of
"x-opt-delivery-delay" property but there is no mention of it in the documentation provided
at [].
