Attached is an XML config which i think shows the issue more clearly. 

There is a topic with routings set up to 5 queues: 
TopicRouted.5.Embedded 

There is an embedded bean which uses a VM transport to publish from
TopicRouted.5 to 
TopicRouted.5.Embedded

If i publish to either, eventually the messages will end up on the correct queues 1-5. However,
if i publish to TopicRouted.5, i'm only limited by the broker receive rate, and eventually
the memory limit on the topic (~11k messages/second until this point), while if i publish
to TopicRouted.5.Embedded i'm limited by the speed at which the broker is able to persist
messages to the queues (. 

While i understand that this is likely to lead to message loss if the broker were to restart
while the embedded router had messages pending, it would also allow us to scale a lot better
with bursts of messages. 

Is this expected behaviour? Do you know of any way to make the broker behave like this by
default?
