Subject [jira] [Closed] (AMQ-4231) RWLock in queue does not used properly - performance improvement
Date Mon, 30 Sep 2013 19:28:24 GMT

Timothy Bish closed AMQ-4231.

    Resolution: Not A Problem

Playing with the synchronization here is dangerous. The code works as designed and there's
no evidence provided that these changes improve things while not introducing new problems.

> The advantage of RW locks in Queue class is not used much. The cursors objects are synchronized,
so the readers cannot access the queued messages concurrently.

during fixing related issues.
