Subject [jira] [Created] (AMQ-4516) Don't decrement topic enqueues when messages are expired
Date Tue, 07 May 2013 14:39:15 GMT
Christian Posta created AMQ-4516:
------------------------------------

Summary: Don't decrement topic enqueues when messages are expired
                 Key: AMQ-4516
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4516
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Broker
    Affects Versions: 5.8.0
            Reporter: Christian Posta
            Assignee: Christian Posta
            Priority: Minor

When messages expire from a topic, the destination statistics are updated to reflect the expire,
but it also decrements the enqueue counters which proves to be a little confusing. Once a
message has been "enqueued", the destination should always reflect that a message was "enqueued"
even if it eventually becomes expired. From this mailing list message:
