> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4515
> Project: ActiveMQ
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: stomp, Transport
> Affects Versions: 5.8.0, 5.9.0
> Environment: Linux: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS (precise)
> java version "1.6.0_27"
> OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.12.5) (6b27-1.12.5-1)
> OpenJDK Client VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode, sharing)
> Reporter: Erik
> Priority: Minor
>
> Please add TCP_NODELAY, TCP_KEEPCNT, TCP_KEEPIDLE, TCP_KEEPINTVL, and SO_LINGER to the
stomp transport. See "man -s 7 tcp" on linux.
> These options help ActiveMQ recognize disappeared connections outside of the application
layer.
> TCP_NODELAY is a performance option for small messages.
