Subject [jira] [Commented] (AMQ-4306) BTreeIndexTest.testRandomAddRemove() is very slow on Solaris
Date Fri, 08 Mar 2013 10:30:15 GMT

Gary Tully commented on AMQ-4306:

yep, this test causes lots of random io to the pagefile to really stress the index paging
logic. Unfortunately it needs to be run for a reasonable period to validate, but there may
be little value in additional platform executions of this test, adding an sunos exclusion
may make sense.

It looks the the difference is almost all in the section where it builds the index. I'll
try to get more info later.
> For now I'm attaching a patch which bumps up the timeout for this test so it doesn't
cause the build to fail.
