Subject [jira] [Created] (AMQ-4306) BTreeIndexTest.testRandomAddRemove() is very slow on Solaris
Date Fri, 08 Feb 2013 18:39:12 GMT
Kevin Earls created AMQ-4306:
--------------------------------

Summary: BTreeIndexTest.testRandomAddRemove() is very slow on Solaris
                 Key: AMQ-4306
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4306
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Test Cases
         Environment: Solaris 2.10 with JDK7
            Reporter: Kevin Earls
            Priority: Minor

This test runs very slowly on Solaris, taking 8-10 times as long as on Mac or Ubuntu. It
looks the the difference is almost all in the section where it builds the index. I'll try
to get more info later.

For now I'm attaching a patch which bumps up the timeout for this test so it doesn't cause
the build to fail.
