Subject [jira] [Updated] (AMQ-3321) Add kerberos authentication support for transport over https
Date Fri, 13 May 2011 20:41:47 GMT

Ashutosh Chauhan updated AMQ-3321:

    Attachment: krb_support.patch

Apache Hadoop project has similar requirement recently because they were also using Jetty
for SSL over Http. This patch is based on the connector for Jetty which they did[1]. Idea
is here that if broker uri is of form https://localhost:61616?auth=KRB then Kerberos mechanism
is used to negotiate auth credentials at connection setup time. Certificate based authentication
continues to remain default.

> For Https currently only certificate based authentication is possible. Enable Kerberos
based authentication for Https transport.
