Subject [jira] Commented: (AMQCPP-328) crash found in activemqcpp when turning broker offline
Date Wed, 15 Dec 2010 04:52:01 GMT

Helen Huang commented on AMQCPP-328:

Thanks for the feedback on the logging question.

Also I have noticed the VS2005/VS2008 project files that come with the activemqcpp 3.2.x
releases do not have any unicode configurations. Also the libraries are expecting std::string
to be passed in as parameters.

My question is, if my application is unicode, can I still use the ANSI build of the activemqcpp
libs/dlls safely, if all the parameters passed into activemqcpp are converted to std::string
(payload of the message will be converted to UTF-8 bytes). I think the answer is yes, but
I think I should double check with you to make sure.

Thank you very much for your help!

meanwhile, our application is still trying to send messages to the broker, and to receive
messages from it. Could you please take a look at this problem? Much thanks for your help!
