Subject [jira] Commented: (AMQ-1105) Misuse of maxMessages when creating a connection consumer

Bruce Snyder commented on AMQ-1105:
-----------------------------------

See the {{ActiveMQConnection.createDurableConnectionConsumer()}} and {{ActiveMQConnection.createConnectionConsumer()}}
methods where {{info.setPrefetchSize(maxMessages)}} is called. I think Guillaume is saying
that the {{maxMessages}} param is being misapplied.

> It seems the maxMessages given to the connection when creating a connection consumer
> is usually used to allow a maximum number of messages to be dispatched for a single ServerSession

> run (so the WorkManager is not exhaust by ever lasting works ?).
> Currently, this parameter is used to indicate the destination prefetch size.
