Subject [jira] Commented: (AMQCPP-253) Problems with compiler aCC on HPUX
Date Tue, 10 Nov 2009 16:11:52 GMT

Brian McFarland commented on AMQCPP-253:

What does your Socket.h look like with the changes to TcpSocket.cpp?

I keep getting the following error:
Error 744: "decaf/net/TcpSocket.cpp", line 32 # The operand of a static_cast must be a pointer
to or lvalue of a complete class; the
    actual type was apr_socket_t *.
      : socketHandle( static_cast< SocketHandle >((apr_socket_t*)INVALID_SOCKET_HANDLE)

I've tried it with and without the (apr_socket_t*) cast in TcpSocket.cpp. Also tried it
with/wo the changes to Socket.h where INVALID_SOCKET_HANDLE was changed from int to apr_socket_t*
and it's intialization is placed outside of the class declaration.

My environment:
bash-2.04$ uname -srvm
HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64
bash-2.04$ aCC --version
aCC: HP aC++/ANSI C B3910B A.05.52 [Sep 05 2003]
