Subject [jira] Updated: (AMQCPP-253) Problems with compiler aCC on HPUX
Date Tue, 17 Nov 2009 09:55:52 GMT

Wolfgang.Klein updated AMQCPP-253:

    Attachment: aq_cpp_make

After so much problems with the configure staff, i built my own makefile (see attachment).
It is some experimental, but may be interesting for others. Our application is built with
native (OS supplier) compiler, i.e. aCC for HP-UX, xlC for AIX etc. I will not mix different
c++ runtime libraries. My make builds only the So i do not test the examples
or checks.

My application is running, except that from time to time the cpp-clients core. But this is
independent of the platform and only since release 3.x after special ack timeouts/retransmits.
I have not opened an issue for this.

My HPUX machine is an PA-Risc model=9000/800/A500-44 and we build 32-Bit libraries. We use
apr-1.3.3 and apr-util-1.3.4. I had problems to bind with pthread_create, i had to move from
HPUX B.11.11 to B.11.23.

Good luck
