Subject [jira] Commented: (AMQCPP-253) Problems with compiler aCC on HPUX
Date Wed, 11 Nov 2009 15:43:52 GMT

Timothy Bish commented on AMQCPP-253:

The warnings could be of use but I don't think they are the cause of this error. This looks
more like the compiler is having an issue with the member template dynamicCast in the Pointer
class which is odd since the library uses this extensively. My first guess is that there
is something not getting passed to the compiler for the exe that is getting passed to the
compiler when building the lib, have you check the output of the call to aCC for a file in
the lib vs a file in the examples build?

I don't know why you couldn't attach the file, the included amq_cpp_30.tar for this issue
is 60KB so you are under that. Worse case you can send it to me via email but I'd verify
those compiler settings first.
