Subject [jira] Commented: (AMQCPP-253) Problems with compiler aCC on HPUX
Date Tue, 10 Nov 2009 21:35:52 GMT

Timothy Bish commented on AMQCPP-253:

The cleanest solution is to remove the INVALID_SOCKET_HANDLE entirely which is what I committed
to trunk today. It was used back when we didn't use APR for the socket code. Its not needed
any longer and a NULL suffices to set the socket pointer to a default state.

A quick fix might be to just remove the static_cast and just go with a blind cast:

socketHandle( (apr_socket_t*)INVALID_SOCKET_HANDLE )

This is what is done in the ServerSocket class, so if that's compiling for you then you should
be golden.
